Public Involvement

Your participation is important to the success of this project.  As the study progresses, public feedback will be used in the development and refining of the preferred alternative.  We want to hear from you!  There are several ways to get involved in the Wekiva Trail PD&E Study.  You may use this website to submit questions or comments by completing the comment form below.  The comment form also allows you to request to be added to the project mailing list to receive project newsletters.  You may also sign up to follow the Wekiva Trail on Facebook and Twitter for project update announcements.

Public Information Meeting

A public information meeting regarding Segment 1 of the Wekiva Trail Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study was held on Thursday, March 17 at the Mount Dora Community Building. The meeting was held to present project information and to receive public input regarding the recommended alternative for Segment 1 of the Wekiva Trail PD&E Study. The limits of the Wekiva Trail Segment 1 are from Tremain Street in Mount Dora to State Road (SR) 46 in Sorrento. The meeting was an open house and there was a brief presentation.
